La Residencia is located in Deiá, Mallorca, with spectacular views over the Tramuntana Mountains and Mediterranean Sea. The project involved the addition of a tiered bedroom building set into the landscape and topography. Natural materials, including stone and timber, plaster techniques and wrought-iron balustrading were used to complement the existing hotel building. The bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated in traditional Majorcan style, with calm natural tones, which are simple but elegant with wooden shuttered windows overlooking the lush landscaped gardens.
